Location: Approximately 25 miles west of Jal, NM on the Eddy-Lea County Line.

Description: The Bootleg Ridge Ranch is a yearlong cattle ranch. The ranch is separated into four noncontiguous tracts by State highway 128 and Lea County Road #1. The right of way of each of the roadways is fenced. The headquarters is located approximately three-quarters of a mile north of Highway 128.
Pasture Design: The four noncontiguous tracts are fenced into 12 pastures and traps. Each pasture has at least one permanent water source from two wells. The primary well is a partnership well with the neighboring ranch with a written water well agreement. There is approximately 20 miles of buried water pipeline system that distributes water throughout the ranch with several storage tanks and livestock drinkers.
Grazing Capacity: The grazing capacity of the ranch is set by a BLM Grazing permit that allows for up to 370 animal units yearlong. The permit is in good standing.
Climate: The annual rainfall is between 10 and 12 inches per year with the majority of the precipitation coming during the months of July, August and September. There is very little snowfall during the winter months. The growing season is approximately 180 days from the end of march to the last of October.
Comments: This year around cattle ranch is priced as reasonable as anything currently being offered. The ranch is located in an area of oil field activity with several service roads and well sites.
